The Spanish Pork Sector: Committed to Combating Climate Change

The Inter-professional Agri-food White Pork organisation, INTERPORC, which represents the pork value chain sectors, has presented the Spanish pork sector strategy in the fight against climate change.
INTERPORC presented the specific actions to be pursued in terms of sustainability throughout the value chain, detailing the commitment of the sector towards society and the environment, to ensure only the end consumer receives products that are of the finest quality and highest standards.
Since 2018 INTERPORC has been a member of the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact, acting as a member of the Agri-foods Working Group in the Spanish Network of the Global Compact.
